These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BusHop — the website, mobile app, and related services at bushop.co.uk (collectively, the "Service").
By using BusHop, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
BusHop is a journey-planning tool that aggregates UK bus timetable data from public and open data sources (including bustimes.org, the Bus Open Data Service / BODS, and Photon for geocoding). It is not a bus operator and has no control over actual bus services.
BusHop displays departure times and planned routes as information only — it is not a ticketing service, not a licensed travel agent, and not affiliated with any bus operator.
BusHop is available on a paid subscription at £2 per month (plus VAT where applicable). This gives unlimited journey searches, the Near Me feature, and saved favourites.
Cancel anytime. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe billing portal (accessible via the app). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. All payments are processed securely by Stripe — BusHop does not see or store your card details. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge the payment method on file.
If a payment fails, we'll retry within 3 days. If it fails again, your access may be suspended until payment is updated.
Subscriptions are non-refundable for partial months. If you believe a billing error has occurred, contact us at bushop@polsia.app and we'll review it.
Live times are indicative, not guaranteed.
Timetables are sourced from the Bus Open Data Service (BODS, operated by the Department for Transport) and bustimes.org. Real-time departure data comes from operator-reported feeds. These sources vary in accuracy and freshness — we have no independent way to verify their accuracy.
Buses may arrive early, late, be cancelled without notice, or not show up at all. BusHop is not responsible for missed connections, late arrivals, or journeys that don't go as planned.
In plain terms: use BusHop to plan your journey, but always check actual departure boards at the stop. We do our best — but we're an aggregator of public data, not a live bus control system.

BusHop is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
The BusHop name, logo, design, and branding are our property. You may not reproduce them without permission.
Timetable and geographic data displayed by BusHop is sourced from open government data (BODS under the Open Government Licence) and open data sources. This data is not our intellectual property and is subject to its respective licences.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material (e.g. a new fee, a change in data practices), we'll notify you by email if you have an account. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
You can stop using BusHop at any time by cancelling your subscription. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with or without notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
